The first week of class...ha ha! But seriously, I did :)
Anyways, last night we had a great time for our last day of Hillapalooza. Even though it was raining, I still braved the elements with my roommate Cindy. We headed down to the office and there was quite the buzz of activity going on. First thing first, we got the food! They had nachos and those yummy cinnamon chips. After getting our food we sat under the tent and ate while listening to an eclectic mix of music. Some of the Hilltop council members were making cotton candy, but I declined to eat any. Next on the list was tye-dye! There was a bunch of Hillapalooza shirts that we could dunk in any number of colors. My first shirt was so much fun that I just had to make another! Cindy also made me one, so I think that I will be set on tye-dye for quite a while now. I headed back to my room around 8:30 just because I was so tired. Apparently they still showed the movie but I was probably out when it started.
This morning I grabbed breakfast with my friend Heather and then trekked to Purdue West. I had an interview with this guy who told me that basically I would be hired, and do you know how to decorate cakes? I told him that I never learned how to do that (since we didn't make cakes at the zoo) but I would be willing to learn. So now I will be going back sometime next week to be trained on cake decorating. I am pretty excited especially since it will only be a low hour commitment.
The hope today is that I get laundry done and the bathroom cleaned. I am going to get my hair colored, so cross your fingers that everything works out! Tonight they are showing Star Trek on Slater Hill so I am going to go even though I have no interest whatsoever!
Have a great weekend!
