Fall is Here

I am sitting outside as I type this post. There are two reasons for this. First of all, it is a gorgeous day outside and I want to enjoy it as much as possible. Secondly, they turned on  the heat this weekend and even though our radiators are off, it is ridiculously warm in our room. Now, I will be the first to admit that I was very happy when the heat came on. Last week was a chilly week and our room was pretty cool. But now it is so hot that it is not enjoyable. Its just a lesson of be careful for what you wish for. I am sure that I will be glad for the heat when it starts to cool down again this week.

I had a fairly relaxed week-no exams to worry about, and just a small project due. I have been working on a speech outline this weekend along with a paper outline that is due at the end of next week. Not much of anything happened this week. It was homecoming week, but there wasn't a ton of stuff going on campus. Friday night I watched the Homecoming parade which was a lot of fun. Saturday I went to the Purdue v. Northwestern game, only to be dissapointed once again. :( Other than that, it was basically just the same old, same old. Last night, some friends and I met up at the Union to go bowling. There weren't any lanes open, so we decided to go to Pappy's Diner and eat some food instead. We will try and go bowling another time.

I am very excited because fall break is next weekend. I am so ready to go home and see all of the people that I have been missing. It won't be all rest and relaxation, though. I have some exams coming up that week, and of course my mom and I will be doing some shopping.
