Ah. What a great weekend! The family came up on Saturday which was very nice of them...you know, it was Family Day after all :) Anyways, we went to the stadium with high hopes for our Boilers, and left with crushed hearts. But that's quite all right. We had a great time hanging out, eating cotton candy, and being fried by thes sun. Even though the Boilers didn't pull out a win we still had a great time at Ross Ade.
After the game, we went to the Den to get our Den pops...yum! Then it was out to the Tippecanoe mall. I was supposed to find a winter coat (which didn't happen) but instead I found a fleece and some cute shoes. The mall was nice, we spent a lot of time walking around in all of the different stores. By the time we were done at the mall we were ready for food. Pizza Hut did the trick, as the buffet always does. Wal-Mart was next on the list and my mom insured that I would not go hungry for the next mom. I can't wait to dive in to all of my new goodies :)
Alli came back with me to the apartment while the rest of the family headed to the hotel. We had a great time bonding as sisses. She somehow convinced me to watch Twilight (I think there was something in the water) with her. Nevertheless, we still had a good time eating oreos and laughing at the movie. She claims that the futon was not comfortable, but it's better than the floor, right?
Sunday morning the parents and Jon came back for us and we went to church at the University Church. Its quite a bit different than the church back home, so I don't think my brother and sister knew what to think. But we had a good time together and that's all that matters. Next on the list was eating lunch at Wiley Dining Court. We stuffed ourselves full, but not too full! After lunch we headed to SnoBear Frozen Custard and ate some good frozen custard. Like all things, our fun time had to end. The fam left around 2 and I had the joy of doing all that homework that had piled up over the weekend.
Not too busy of a week next week, and I am looking forward to that!
