Even though it is the first week of fall in Indiana, the weather has been anything but. Earlier this week it was muggy and warm, now it is cooler and rainy. I don't mind the cooler temps, but I am not a big fan of the drizzly rain. It does make for good study conditions though :)
This week hasn't had much going on, which is probably why I haven't been on to blog. Monday I had my speech presentation in Communications. I think that everything went well, I didn't get too nervous. We are supposed to get our grades back on Monday so I am eagerly awaiting those. Tuesday night I had my Senate council meeting which was a lot of fun. It is so cool being a part of the decision making on the Hill. Afterwards I helped out a girl from my Spanish class with studying for the exam. We met up again on Wednesday for lunch to study a bit more before the exam. Hopefully the extra studying did me some good and I got a good grade.
Last night I was able to go to my Bible study. There were only five of us there compared to the 12 or so that were there two weeks ago. Exams were in full swing this week, so that's where a lot of the girls were. It is so awesome reading Ephesians and being able to talk to others about what they are learning. I am so excited to be part of this study and I can't wait to see what God has to teach me through this study.
Today is "Celebrate Indiana's Apples" day in the dining court. Everything is apple themed...yummy! I am very excited about going back for dinner tonight :)
This weekend is the big Purdue vs. Notre Dame game. Hopefully our players will actually show up for the game, unlike last week. It should be a lot of fun even if we don't win.
