A Week of Firsts

Tonight I had my first math exam! Wow, that is really not that exciting, but it should be noted. I sat in Elliot Hall of Music with too many other students. If you think that taking a math exam is nerve wracking imagine it with probably 500 other people with a lap board. Yes. Math is fun! Anyways, I think the exam went all right there were just a few questions that I wasn't sure what the answer was.

On Tuesday, I rode the bus to Wal-Mart. This was a first for me. I have rode the bus around campus but never off campus. Not only did I ride the bus off campus, I also rode it alone...duh duh duh! No worries, I made it to Wal-Mart all right and I made it back in one piece. See, all is good! :) I actually don't mind the transportation here even though it can be a little bit unreliable.

Monday really wasn't a day of firsts, but something exciting did happen! General Mills was on campus and they had a cereal bar set up next to the engineering fountain. They had every cereal known to man avaiable! Needless to say, as soon as I found out about this I got myself a bowl of Lucky Charms. Its crazy how a little bit of cereal can make your day so much better!

On Friday I have my Spanish presentation. I hope that I get rid of my cough by then...it is rather difficult to ennunciate when every word I say sounds awful or is interrupted by a cough! No worries, I don't have the flu, just the sniffles :)
